Marketplace

The Marketplace is where one organization lists a locked framework and another organization installs a copy it can run. Listings are community instruments. They are not part of the platform's Morality, Security, Virtue, or Ethics banks.

Gray boxes are waiting for screenshots. The caption is the name of the shot. Building the framework itself is Custom Frameworks.

Any signed-in member can open the catalog. Authoring the framework still needs an Enterprise plan. See Custom Frameworks.

1. Open the catalog

Sidebar, Marketplace (/marketplace). Each card shows the title, the seller's public name, the version, a short summary, the industry, and the dimension names. The price badge is Free, a one-time amount, or a monthly amount.

Use the industry chips and the search box to narrow the list. My frameworks returns to Frameworks. Org ledger is the organization's marketplace record.

2. Become a seller

Listing is closed until the organization is an approved seller. An owner opens Set up seller on the Marketplace (or goes to /marketplace/sell). The button reads Correct seller application if a reviewer sent the request back.

The form is plain text. Do not enter an EIN, SSN, routing number, or bank account. Fill:

  • Legal business name and DBA / catalog name (the catalog name is what buyers see)
  • Entity type, country, street, city, region, postal code
  • Website, business phone, business email
  • What you will list for sale
  • Authorized officer: full legal name, title, and the checkbox that you are authorized to bind the company
  • Payee name (match the legal business name) and an optional payout note with no account numbers

Submit Request seller status. While it is in review you cannot edit it. If it comes back, the page shows the reviewer's note. Correct the form and resubmit. When the organization is approved, the page says this org is already an approved seller, and you can submit listings.

3. Submit a locked framework

The framework must already be LOCKED. A draft cannot be listed. On the framework card in Frameworks, Owner or Admin chooses Submit to marketplace.

In the dialog:

  1. Choose Free, One-time USD, or Monthly USD. For a paid choice, enter the amount. Monthly means buyers are billed every month until they cancel. That price is the listing. It is not your organization's AI Assess Tech plan.
  2. Buyers may copy this instrument starts off. Leave it off when buyers should run assessments and should not open the questions in Framework Builder. Turn it on when buyers may open the framework and copy a draft. Copy is separate from the price. Turning copy off does not cancel a subscription.
  3. Click Submit. The listing is not on the public catalog until platform review approves it. Your organization can still run the framework.

Change listing on an already published card edits the price or the copy setting. Saving sends that listing back to review. Buyers do not see the new price or the new copy setting until it is approved again.

4. What a buyer sees on the card

With copy off, the card shows a Run only badge and the dimension names. It does not list principles. With copy on, the card also lists principle names.

A card from your own organization shows Your organization and the line "Your organization already has this." The button is Open in Frameworks, not Install. You do not install your own listing.

5. Install a free listing

Owner or Admin clicks Install on a free card.

  • Copy on: install proceeds. The copy lands under Installed from marketplace on Frameworks, and you can Open it.
  • Copy off: a dialog titled Install run-only instrument? explains that you can assess with it and cannot Open it or copy a draft. Confirm Install. Running an assessment still sends questions to the model. The authoring screens stay closed.

A free install does not open Checkout. The button then reads Installed.

6. Install a priced listing

Install on a one-time or monthly card opens Install priced instrument or Subscribe to priced instrument. Read the terms in the dialog. Check the accept box. Then Confirm install or Confirm and subscribe. The next screen is Checkout for the card payment.

Monthly copy on that dialog: the installed copy is yours; the charge is on the next screen; billing continues each month until you cancel. Canceling the subscription keeps the installed copy. Uninstalling the framework does not cancel the subscription.

If copy was off at the moment of that install, that copy stays run-only. Turning copy on later, and getting the listing approved again, does not open the earlier copy. A new install after that approval gets the new setting.

7. Run, uninstall, install again

After install, the framework name is available in Quick Assessment, Trials, Compliance (Add Assessment), and Quick Evaluation for this organization. Other organizations do not see that copy.

Uninstall asks you to confirm. The framework moves to Uninstalled frameworks at the bottom of the Marketplace. It is hidden from new assessments. Past results stay. Install on that row restores the same copy. It does not create a second one.
